Maximum Inrush Currents:
Limited to six times maximum peak
operating current.

from last AC crest.

400usec maximum for 25% load step to
recover to within 1% of output voltage. Excursion during 25% load change to be

Voltages:
0.02% per °C maximum on V1
output only.

Efficiency:   75% typical.

Over Voltage Protection - V1 Only:
Set between 115%-135% of nominal
output voltage. Power must be manually
recycled after over voltage trip.

Isolation: V1 is fully isolated
from V2/V3 outputs and from
chassis up to 300 VDC.

Operating Temperature:
0°C-40°C Convection cooling. 0°C-50°C with 15 CFM forced air
cooling. All models 0°C-70°C
derate 2.5% per °C over maximum
allowed ambient temperature. VME500 - 0°C-50°C with 100CFM
forced air cooling.

Current Limiting Protection:
Automatic restart when overload or
short is removed. Adjusted to 105%
-140% of maximum rated current.

Remote Sensing: Eliminates the
effect of output lead resistance
on regulation, up to 0.25V lead
drop. Open sense lead protection
provided only on V1 output.

Reverse Voltage Protection:
Outputs protected against applied
reverse voltages.

Brown-Out Protection: Outputs
maintained down to input line
voltages of  85 or 170 VAC without
shutdown or damage.

Thermal Protection: Optional
Thermal Shut-down. Power must be
manually recycled after trip.

Parallel/Power-Sharing Operation:
Units can be configured to operate
in parallel with current sharing on
V1 outputs. VME200 has current
sharing on all three outputs. N+1
redundancy is optional. VME500 has
current sharing and N+1 capability.

Logic Interfaces:
VMEbus compatible power fail
signal (POWER FAIL).

Condition Indicators:
On/off power LED.

VME500 Front Panel Operations:
On/off power LED, output indicators
LED, test points and voltage
adjustment for all outputs are
located on the front panel.
